We are on the lookout for talented and experienced freelance designers to help us design the best websites and online resources in the country.
DDSN's design process is highly structured. Creative direction is defined by us in conjunction with our clients, but we also draw on the expertise and input of the lead designer on each project. Typically you will help us create the graphic concept and style guide for a project, which is then extended by internal designers and developers. The creation of standalone multimedia presentations is also a common task for freelancers.
Macromedia Flash and animation skills are needed. We'll expect qualified freelancers to be intermediate to advanced in this area.
Required Skills
To be considered for a DDSN partnership role please provide the following information:
- A portfolio of serious work including experience with a diverse range of design styles. In particular we're looking for the ability to create stunning corporate presentations coupled with the creativity to design sites like www.civicvideo.com.au and www.gould.edu.au.
- Intermediate to advanced Macromedia Flash and animation skills.
- Information about your own design process and how we can put it to work. We're also interested in documentation that you use to support the design process.
